The big final round at Hamilton is  fast approaching on Oct 15 to 16.
Its a 2 day race meet for the final round, 3 heats and a final, with series champions to be awarded on Sunday at the earlier conclusion of racing
A max of 1604 points are available and best 5 round count, which could see you in the top 5 for prices, or in the top 3 for trophies with a last round performance.

Horsham wrap up: Race report, results and gallery

Wimmera Racing Kart Club welcomed around 170 karters to their track for round 4.
Despite early fog trying to spoil the day, once racing got underway there was plenty of action.

Next round:
Round five will be at 675m long Ballarat Kart Club – Haddon Park Raceway on the September the 4th.

Thick fogs sets in for the morning causing various headaches for organisers and karters.

TAG Light carves through the fog in, with Timothy Rankin (#46) leading early on.

Brad Marsh (#24) through the fog, and would go on to take out the day after reverse grid draws for heats 1 and 2.

Home track for Ash Lear in TAG Light (#11) He would take out the first heat, but could only manage 2nd for the final

Aldo Distefano (#82) dealing with visor fogging in the cold air before having winning everything in TAG Restricted Super Heavy

Ben Armstrong (#80) had a stellar day in TAG Restricted Heavy, while many others in the field had tangles

Nicholas Schembri (#45) leading KA4 Junior Light

Corey Herbetson (#5) and Ethan Church (#3) dual through turns 1 and 2 in KA4 Junior Light

Brayden Flood (#23) would go on to win TAG Restricted Light, roaring up from 17th to 3rd in Heat 2

Jay Coul (#42) and Taine Venables (#43) in KA3 Junior

Benjamin D’Alia (#66), Henry Johnstone (#90) and Aiden Solomon (#33) in KA4 Junior Heavy

Home track for Remo Luciani (#20), but a couple of young guns including Aaron Jackson (#13) and Bryce Woollard (#40) pushed him off the podium.

Haiden Smith (#89) grabs a round win and becomes the first karter to best Jacob Dowson (#98) in KA3 Senior Light this season.

Horsham entries update

Wimmera Kart Club will play host to round 4 at the Horsham track.
108  karters are entered with a  just over a week to go before Round 4 on July 16.
Best 5 rounds count for series points and there are 4010 points still up for grabs in each class for the rest of the series.
As a result we expect many classes to be tight with interesting battles after the mid-season point for the top 5

The Warrnambool round has been run and won on the weekend.

This race order attempts to improve a few classes, but we won’t be able to please everyone, some classes must be combined.

We are attempting to run an extra class to allow the separation of junior classes- we will need to run on time to make this happen – please be on the grid promptly when your class is called up or you may miss going out

Change to confirmation of entries for Warrnambool round

To allow qualifying to start immediately after drivers briefing and make the event run efficiently, confirmation of entries is now required by 5:00pm on the Saturday of the race meet.

If you are not intending to arrive at the track until Sunday morning, you will need to phone through your confirmation of entry by 5:00pm on the Saturday.

VCS Round 2 Portland completed in windy conditions.

VCS Round 2: Portland has been run and won in windy conditions – with a huge tailwind down the straight giving karters a boost.
A few sprinkles of rain kept things interesting and made sure karters had to stay on their toes – but races remained slick shod.
