History
The Victorian Country Series has existed in its current 6 round format since 2003.
Prior to this there have been other series in the state that included the current VCS tracks.
Since 2003 the 6 tracks have been Ballarat, Cobden, Hamilton, Horsham, Portland and Warrnambool.
A 2 day race format was adopted for a brief period, before being reverted back to the more popular one day race format.
